Modern kitchen renovation in Cardiff

We love making people’s kitchen visions a reality and that’s exactly what we did for Rhian Roberts…

Rhian knew as soon as she saw her parent’s Sigma 3 kitchen that she wanted one for herself and when the time came for her to begin her own home renovation, she headed straight to our showroom in Colchester Avenue and began her dream kitchen journey…

Rhian and her husband sat with our designer Alice Vaatstra and described their vision for their new kitchen. The brief was clear – they desired a modern, minimalistic kitchen with clean lines. It was also important to them that their kitchen accommodated for her husband’s love of cooking and also work as an entertaining space for friends and family.

Alice created a CGI image based on the information she was given by the Roberts family which demonstrated what their kitchen would look like. To achieve the modern look that they wanted, they opted for our Sutton range which encompasses modern slab doors with a super smooth silk finish. Rhian's colour of choice was Scots Grey with beautiful Portland Oak interiors and marbled white quartz worktops.

The design also featured deep, wide pan drawers and a spice draw to accommodate for Mr Robert’s cooking needs and a breakfast bar which would make for easier socialising when entertaining guests.

Rhian and her husband were pleased with the design and loved that they were able to show their friends and family what their future kitchen would look like before the installation took place.

We were able to coordinate timings between our kitchen fitters and the family's building team so that the process ran smoothly whilst the family moved out of their home for the renovation. Following the installation, we were delighted to hear that the Roberts family were pleased with both the kitchen and the service they received. Rhian and her family were able to enjoy Christmas in their new Sigma 3 kitchen.
