Eurovision-Themed Cocktails
Every Eurovision territory has a famous cocktail, but it’s hard to prepare 20+ gourmet drink variations. As a result, we’ve covered our bases with seven prominent territories: Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Ukraine, France, Spain and the UK. Easy – here are the perfect recipes…
The Cosmorand (Switzerland)
We love Switzerland for lots of reasons: their Eurovision entry, the chocolate, Roger Federer – and the flag is a big plus. Besides that, though, there’s the Cosmorand. Invented in a Swiss distillery, this drink features apricot brandy sourced from Luizet tree apricots found in the Swiss Alps.
Ingredients
- One Shot of Morand Douce d'Abricot
- One Shot of Triple Sec
- Two Shots of Cranberry Juice
- Half a Lime
- One Strip of Orange Zest
- Two Cups of Ice Cubes
Instructions
Pour Douce d’Apricot and triple sec into a shaker full of ice cubes alongside cranberry juice and the juice from half a squeezed lime. Shake and strain into your martini glass. Garnish with orange zest.
Swedish Mule (Sweden)
Eurovision cocktail entry two is the Swedish Mule, a staple of the country. Traditionally, this beverage takes three weeks to prepare. Our adapted recipe, however, takes seconds but is similarly delectable.
Ingredients
- Two Shots of Vodka
- One Shot of Lime Juice
- One Splash of Sugar Syrup
- Four Shots of Ginger Beer
- Crushed Ice
Instructions
Easy to make, simply pour the ingredients over crushed ice, stir and share with your visitors.
Finnish Long Drink (Finland)
Adored in Finland and around the world, the Finnish Long Drink contains gin, grapefruit mixer, and is served in a tall tumbler. The star of Finland’s 1952 Summer Olympics, it’s still popular today.
Ingredients
- Two Shots of Gin
- One Splash of Lemon Juice
- One Splash of Cranberry Juice
- Four Shots of Grapefruit Soft Drink
- Crushed Ice
- A Slice of Grapefruit
Instructions
Mix the gin, lemon juice and cranberry juice into a glass filled with crushed ice. Then top up the glass with grapefruit soft drink and add a grapefruit slice for garnish.
Zelenskyy Cocktail (Ukraine)
Characterised by attention-grabbing lemon and saccharine peach flavour, this cocktail is colourful, zesty and full of heart. Drinking it is a fantastic way to support Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Ingredients
- Two Shots of Passion Fruit Puree
- A Splash of Peach Schnapps
- Two Shots of Blue Curacao
- One Shot of Vodka
- A Splash of Lemon Juice
- A Splash of Orange Juice
- Crushed Ice
- A Slice of Lemon
Instructions
Shake passion fruit puree and peach schnapps, plus orange and lemon juice, in a cocktail shaker. Then pour the mixture into a glass full of crushed ice. Next, mix vodka and blue curacao in another glass, and pour the concoction slowly over first glass’ contents.
The Black Rose (France)
Delicate and floral, this quintessential Parisian drink serves an unexpected bite thanks to the vermouth that hides beneath its pink waters.
Ingredients
- Two Shots of French Vermouth
- One Shot of Blackberry Cordial
- A Splash of Blackberry Syrup
- Three Blackberries
- A Sprig of Rosemary
Instructions
Combine the vermouth, cordial and syrup with crushed ice. Then decorate the glass with blackberries and rosemary.
Sangria (Spain)
If you’ve visited Spain, you’ll have seen the ubiquity of this cocktail. Refreshing and beautiful, it’s also easy to mix. The key is finding fruit components that hold their integrity resting in liquid.

Pimm’s No. 1 Cup (United Kingdom)
This cocktail is so British you can’t help but extend your pinkie as you drink it. A staple of British summertime beverages, it’s perfect for viewing parties that also include a garden element.
