Ideas For Creating Your Dream Traditional Kitchen
Published on 15 May 2020
If you’re dreaming of a beautifully traditional kitchen then you’re in the right place. Our classic kitchen ranges offer all the features you need to create a traditional look and feel in your kitchen.
But how do you bring all these elements together to fulfil your dream?
1. Use painted grey tones
Using greys in your kitchen is a look that’s very ‘of the moment’. However, this is a look that will stand the test of time and give your kitchen a timeless appeal.

2. Add warming woods
Add wood tones to your traditional kitchen to create a rustic warmth. For example, you can add features such as open shelving in an oak finish:

3. Mix & match styling
Are neutral tones not for you? Then add bright and bold colour to your traditional kitchen. A great way to do this is to mix and match a colour from our bold palettes with a neutral ‘base’ tone. Here are some great examples of this:

4. Classic storage essentials
A perfect traditional kitchen is characterised by its functionality, and our Signature Collection of storage was created with this in mind.
The Signature Collection features a range of beautiful and practical storage in wonderful, versatile and strong wood effect finishes, with no wirework in sight.

5. Create a bespoke look
If you love the look of a bespoke kitchen but don’t want a bespoke price tag, then our Portland Oak and Tuscan Walnut drawers are perfect for you. They not only create a bespoke look, but are also extremely durable and versatile, with many configuration options available.
6. Embrace open storage
Open shelving is a perfect way to house your favourite trinkets, ornaments, accessories and cook books so they are always in reaching distance. The possibilities are endless.
