She continued to highlight her favourite parts of the kitchen which were “The island and seating area in the kitchen and the boot room feel of the utility room.”

16. Shaker kitchen with bold kitchen island designed from our Esher kitchen showroom
When asked about her kitchen, Nicola explained; “I know there’s a great place for whites and if you don’t have a lot of space lighter colours are great but I like colour. The house we’re in – bits of the original were built in 1872 so a really modern white or grey kitchen wouldn’t have worked with the house.”
Nicola was delighted when she discovered our Claret finish matched a paint colour she had previously used in other rooms in her home, so she used it upon the kitchen island and mantle.
